Celiacs deserve delicious eats too! I think its important to find good quality food and not to make sacrifices simply because of Celiac Disease. I'm always n the hunt for safe substitutes that still taste good.

A definite splurge, but a worthy investment is my Nima Sensor. It has definitely saved me from being "glutened" so many times. I love it for travel and that extra piece of mind. It is still important to follow your typical allergy protocol, but the Nima is great for extra reassurance. It takes a small sample from your plate and tests to 10 ppm- Celiac safe! Canyon Bakehouse
This is my favorite bread for sandwiches, by far! They make a variety of breads and taste the closest to actual bread (IMO). I find that GF bread is typically super tiny and tastes like cardboard if you don't toast it. Canyon Bakehouse has changed the game! Even my non gf boyfriend likes it. Banza I love Banza pasta. It is made out of chickpeas and more health conscious than your average gf pasta. It is super versatile and they continue to release new shapes. Against the Grain My most missed food has to be pizza. I have tried so many crusts over the years. Against the Grain is the closest I have gotten to pre-Celiac days. They even do shells so you can make your own. |
